To help you plan for your Executive MBA degree experience at RIT, here is an overview of the tuition, fees and financial aid information.
When considering returning to school to earn an advanced degree, financial considerations are important factors in the decision-making process. As you review the costs, keep in mind the value that an RIT Executive MBA will add to your career for the rest of your professional life. New opportunities, increased job satisfaction, and increased salaries are all possibilities with your RIT EMBA.
Our most recent graduating EMBA class saw an 18.5% increase in salary between entry and completion of the program. Additionally, graduates reported that income increases subsequent to program completion indicate a payback of investment of 2.93 years.
The tuition for the RIT EMBA program is:
- $1275.50 per credit hour
- 49 credit hours total

Fees

Total cost for tuition and fees: $63,699.50
Books
Students can expect to spend from $50 – $250 per course, or from $1,300 – $6,500 for the entire EMBA program, on textbooks and materials.
Billing
Students will be billed for each six-week session of classes. Courses dropped within the first four days of each session will be 100% refundable. Tuition refunds are not available after the fourth day of each session.
Saunders International Trip
The tuition fees listed above include the costs associated with the International residency trip: airfare, accommodations, business visits, cultural excursions, meals (breakfast every day, a few other meals), and ground transportation. The program covers the cost of seven nights in the hotel. (If students decide to extend their stay, they will be responsible to cover the cost of the extra nights.) Students will be reimbursed up to $1,000 for the cost of their airfare upon submission of their receipt to RIT. The cost of the trip varies based on the destination and dates of the trip as well as the student’s location and time of booking.
Team Building Residency
The $1,000 residency deposit covers the cost of accommodations, meals, ground transportation on location, and materials for the residency. Students must arrange and pay for airfare to and from Rochester, NY.
Commencement Ceremony (optional)
Students of the online Executive MBA program are invited to participate in the commencement ceremony at RIT’s campus following completion of the program. Students are responsible for all costs associated with this trip, including their flight to and from Rochester, accommodations, and meals. The cost varies based on the dates of the trip, as well as the student’s location and time of booking. There is no cost for the cap and gown.
